Digital Solutions Lead (French required)
The Digital Solutions Lead strives to have:
- customers choose Bayer as their preferred provider for their operation;
- team members run their local business to benefit customers and Bayer; and
- customers have trust and confidence using digital tools for their decision making.
This is a 14-month term home-based within Eastern Ontario. The position will support Eastern Ontario (Ottawa, Peterborough, Lindsey, Cobourg) plus The Maritimes and some of Western Quebec.
What you will do:
- Jointly own and achieve Squad P&L targets, in collaboration with all Squad members.
- Plan, prioritize and execute in short-term (90-day cycles), mid-term and long-term cycles.
- Adapt, iterate, regularly reassess, and prioritize tasks to ensure continued progress towards Squad team outcomes.
- Collaborate and co-create within the Squad team to ensure clarity of accountabilities to maximize customer focus.
- Leveraging digital tools and agronomic expertise position, support, and service the full Bayer portfolio of seed, crop protection and new business models, while also leveraging market intel and data insights to assess and prioritize opportunities.
- Contribute to effective team dynamics as a self-managing Squad, via activities such as peer recruitment, selection, and performance feedback.
- Foster an inclusive environment of professionalism and safe working practices ensuring Safety and Compliance requirements are met or exceeded within Squad.
- Collaborate with the broader Digital community to implement new product and increased value to local geography and customers
- Drive local demand and awareness of Bayer''s digital tools and lead product expertise development across distribution channels.
- As a local digital product expert, enhance digital acumen of the Squad, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and digital revenue through solution selling using FieldView and New Business Models.
- Provide on-farm expertise to assist key customers in installing and troubleshooting Bayer''s agriculture technologies, addressing data collection challenges, connectivity issues, and educating on Digital Farming Solutions.
- Cultivate and strengthen customer relationships, focusing on digital interactions such as sign-ups, onboarding, and engagement.
- Utilize Climate FieldView as a selling tool to showcase the value of Bayer Crop Science Seed & Trait + Crop Protection portfolio.
Who you are:
- Able to communicate in French?, both verbally and written
- BSc in Agriculture or related discipline
- Flexible mindset and ability to adapt to changing business needs?
- Strong interpersonal, team and communication skills - presentation, written, verbal andlistening, to maximize results with customers and internal stakeholders?
- Experience working with customers face to face, understanding key customer needs to develop tailored solutions?
- Experience using digital tools to manage, interpret and leverage data?
- Understanding of local crop production, agronomy
- Excellent problem solving through analytical thinking in complex situations withminimal guidance?
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate motor vehicles safely
Desired
- CCA, CCSC,PAg(RTAg) or OAQ designation
- Advanced computer and database skills with ability to use MS Office Suite as well asother BCS Software (CRM, Tableau)
- Familiarity with OEM andaftermarketequipment monitors, GPS, autoguidance and farmmanagement software (FMS)?
- Understand Bayer portfolio for seedand CP?
