Customer Communications Lead

 

We''re looking for a Customer Communications Lead to join our team at Bayer. Your main goals will be to:

  • Get customers to choose Bayer as their go-to provider.
  • Help our customer-facing teams run their local businesses effectively for both customers and Bayer.
  • Make the customer experience with Bayer better, while boosting awareness and engagement with our brand through impactful campaigns.

 

We''re all about flexibility here, so we offer a hybrid working environment. This is a temporary position for 21 months, based in Calgary, Alberta.

 

What You''ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and roll out communication strategies that build awareness, interest, and loyalty for our key brands and the Bayer portfolio using various communication channels.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Market Development, Legal and Product teams, to ensure we’re aligned and making a big impact with our campaigns.
  • Keep the Bayer brand experience strong and consistent for everyone involved.
  • Guide both internal and external teams, as well as our agency partners, to make sure our messaging aligns with our overall enterprise, brand and marketing goals.
  • Lead the creation of materials for advertising and sponsorships.
  • Lead campaigns that help launch new products and boost the growth of our existing brands and solutions.
  • Create content that supports customer-facing activities like field tours, tradeshows, and events.
  • Manage communication plans to ensure everything is delivered on time and within budget while maximizing ROI.
  • Use digital channels to find impactful ways to connect with customers, both broadly and in targeted ways.
  • Oversee social media content and strategy on platforms like Instagram, X, and Facebook, keeping an eye on trends in agriculture to keep our content fresh and relevant.

 

Who You Are:

  • You have a B.A./B.S. in Agriculture, Marketing, Communications, or Business, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical understanding of agricultural products.
  • You know the Canadian Grower customer well.
  • You understand communications, social media, direct marketing,
  • You’re organized and great at managing projects and your time.
  • You can prioritize tasks effectively and pay attention to detail.
  • You work well in teams and can juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • You’re all about collaboration and teamwork.
  • You have a valid Canadian driver’s license.

Bonus Points:

  • Being fluent in both English and French is a plus!
  • You have a solid grasp of Bayer’s Crop Science portfolio.
