Bayer continues to grow, and we are looking to enter into an independent business relationship with an energetic seed dealer in the Stayner and surrounding area.  Using strong agronomic recommendations, the DEKALB seed dealer* positions and sells DEKALB® seed products, in conjunction with our FieldView™ platform and advises on Bayer crop protection products.

What you will do:

• Serve as a critical retail relationship and trusted advisor to local growers for DEKALB brand seed and FieldView
• Grow relationships for both current and future customers, delivering innovative solutions with DEKALB seed and FieldView
• Achieve or exceed sales objectives set out for DEKALB seed and FieldView
• Work with the local Bayer support team for establishing seed plots and trials

Skills/Knowledge:

• Broad knowledge of DEKALB seed portfolio, Bayer crop protection products and FieldView digital experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional approach to building customer relationships
• Identify opportunities for sales and potential solutions to areas of improvement
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Self-starter, positive thinking
• Strong communication and digital skills
• Proper storage and handling equipment for seed including lift truck and necessary delivery equipment
• Strong business acumen to manage farmer accounts
• Ability to successfully operate an independent, thriving business
