 Territory Sales Manager (1902854)- Toronto or Montreal, Ontario, Canada

 The candidate primary responsibility is to develop new business for theperformance flooring product offering through an existing and potentialcustomer base and lead the development of customer relationships at all levels.Your goal is to "Own a Facility" and provide solutions within the Commercial &Industrial Flooring portfolio that meet and exceed the Client's needs andexpectations. Perform all necessary sales and marketing activities for targetedsegments involving core product growth in such a manner as to facilitate project-orientedsales.

 Core Purpose:
  • Grow performance flooring segment product salesthrough "solution packages".
  • Develop and maintain a high value businessrelationship with Clients, building owners, facility managers, contractors,distributors and design firms.
  • Focus on profitable growth in key performanceflooring market sectors - Food & Beverage Industrial(Manufacturing/Processing), Heavy Industrial (+Waste/Recycling) (High ValuedSolutions) and Lab/Research (+Growers).
  • Vision - Target and secure significant Clients andtheir projects to maximize market share in assigned territory.
  • Formula forSuccess 

  • Aminimum of five years of experience with the sale of specialty constructionmaterials sales and/or experience as a contractor/applicator of commercial/industrialflooring with a proven track record of performance.
  • Bachelorof Arts/Science preferred in business, architecture, engineering or a relatedfield.  Minimum high school graduationwith commensurate industry-related work experience.
  • Bilingualpreferred (French & English), speaking and writing
  • Demonstratesa robust understanding of how construction products are sold into the targetedsegment through the various channels of sale. Channel of sales include but are focused on Architects, Specifiers,Distributors, Owners and Contractors.
  • Superiortime management skills and ability to excel in a self-directed workenvironment.
  • Excellentcommunication (verbal and written) presentation and customer interface skills
  • Experienceand training in consultative selling skills.
  • Strongunderstanding of how to work through multi-level selling and managing a projectsales cycle as it involves different customer interactions.
  • Abilityto travel up to 50%. Driving long distances and overnight travel are required.Will work out of home office.
  • Strongskills in work-product organization, action plan development, time management,project management, meeting facilitation, relationship building (networking,team building and conflict resolution) and public speaking/presentations.
