 Where the Chemistry Happens...  ProductionScheduling Coordinator - Brighton, CO (1900918)

 Coordinatesand distributes the work activities and/or production efforts of the productiongroup.  The Production Coordinator willconduct daily production and shipping scheduling, be a primary contact andperform clerical/administrative duties within designated areas ofresponsibility. In addition, the Production Coordinator will fill in as aProduction Planner when requested and/or the business necessitates. 

 Your responsibilitieswould also include: 

  • Coordinateswork flow and production efforts of designated group.

  • Responsiblefor raw material procurement. (Notifications of BOM (Bill of material) forcorrections to be done for process orders Material management issues such asBOM corrections and costing issues in relations to process order

  • Managethe development of the production plan by collaborating with Supply Chaindemanding teams. Manage site production process document control of allscheduled process orders to ensure production time, cost, variant, reworddocumentation are accounted for.

  • Backup to Production Planner for Production Scheduling needs. Schedule SalesOrders, Work Orders utilizing advanced planning tools and resources,established Lead-Times, MRP, Production Orders & master data create andmaintenance of process orders in SAP and production

  • Analyzeand report process order variances of raw/packaging materials and data inputs.

  • Collaboratewith Site Logistics Team to ensure raw material needs are communicated inaccordance with material specific lead times by inputting process orders forraw material mixes and pre-mixes, along with correction of BOM for accuracy ininventory.

  • Mustunderstand and follow all quality initiatives and processes for ISO 9000, RC14000 and other ISO regulations, procedures and processes as they pertain tojob responsibilities.

  • Youwill solve simple math problems, +, -, x, /, to accurately record chemicaladditions, lot numbers, must be comfortable able to work on his/her own and beable to analyze technical issues/terms in SAP, Strong communication skills.

  • 20to 40 percent interfacing with production and being out on the floor (updatingboard schedule, material error checks etc.)

  • Mayoccasionally back up Admin Asst. with security checks/phones etc.

  • Additionalduties as assigned by manager

     Basic Qualifications:  
  • HighSchool Diploma required.

  • 3years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • 1year of manufacturing SAP experience required 

  • Preferred Qualifications: 
  • AssociatesDegree preferred.

  • MicrosoftExcel experience
