The scope of operations spans slaughter and deboning, processing and forming into various finished products. As the Slaughter/Meat Cutter you will be responsible for understanding and performing every step in the slaughter process and meat processing.  This job is in Winchester, Virginia.



  • Skin sections of animals or whole animals
  • Eviscerate and trim carcasses of slaughtered animals
  • Cut, trim, skin, sort, and wash viscera of slaughtered animals to separate edible portions from offal.
  • Saw, split, or scribe carcasses into smaller portions to facilitate handling.
  • Remove bones, and cut meat into standard cuts
  • Wrap dressed carcasses or meat cuts.
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Complete duties as per USDA regulations
  • Ensure exceptional cleanup up of facility after operations
  • Able to move 100 lbs
