We are a 3rd generation family run seed farm operating south of Reston, Manitoba. Our business is producing, processing and retailing pedigreed seed for our customers.
The spring, summer and fall are our busiest times of year. During this time we:
- Seed, maintain and harvest our crops
- Load and unload seed in our yard
- Harvest feed for our cattle operation
Key Tasks:
- Loading customers with seed
- Unloading incoming trucks
- Delivering seed and fertilizer to our seeding equipment
- Delivering chemical and/or water to our spraying equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness of equipment between seed lots (trucks, bins, field equipment etc.)
- Fixing and maintaining equipment
- Field equipment operation
- Farm and/or mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage your time
- Ability to perform manual labour outdoors
- Ability to work long hours and weekends when necessary
- Minimum Class 5 license required. Class 1 and 3 licenses are a great asset.
- Equipment operation experience is an asset
