Job Description:

2025 Marketing Intern

  • Hybrid Internship (Must be able to report into the office 1 day per week or as needed)
  • Candidates will need to be able to commute to either our Denver, CO or Plymouth, MN office.

 

The role:

As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to assist business leaders in creating long-term company value by developing and executing marketing objectives, goals and strategies. Typical project work is centered on developing data analysis, creative development and overall support of marketing goals. Additionally, these roles will work with the business segments to support growth opportunities and long-term strategies.

Key Accountabilities:

Areas of exposure may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead one or two strategic projects using data analysis and provide a synthesized recommendation to broader Ardent Mills team.
  • Assisting with tactical activities associated with overarching integrated marketing strategies and brand management. For an example, assist in creative development.  
  • Potential for collaboration with product marketing team in new product launches.
  • Data Analysis; supporting the marketing team in the analysis and evaluation of marketing efforts to fully understand effectiveness and opportunity to improve.
  • Creative Development; assisting in the execution of the marketing strategy by developing content, reviewing materials and execution of projects. 
  • Assistance in internal or external communications
  • Interacting and collaborating with other Ardent Mills functions to gain a broader understanding of the Ardent Mills business structure and how Marketing plays a role.
  • Interns will be immersed in the day-to-day business activity while partnering directly with employees across the organization, to create an environment that fosters learning and development. In addition to professional guidance, a variety of social and business-related activities are also available for further interaction and networking amongst peers and mentors.

 

Education, Experience, Skills:

  • Majoring in Marketing or Communications
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Organization/Time Management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges
  • Preferred Education, Experience, Skills:
  • Pursuing a degree focus in Marketing, Advertising, Communications

We offer competitive intern pay, based on academic year, prior experience and continued intern experience with us. The hourly rate for this internship starts at $24.00 and goes up from there. Our internships are overtime eligible in accordance with local guidelines. In addition, our interns are eligible for holiday pay, and the time worked as an intern counts towards tenure with Ardent Mills, upon full-time hire after graduation for the purpose of 401k and retirement.
