Compensation: $33.46 - $42.65 per hour, depending on experience, with a complete benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plan

About the Role

ADM's Lloydminster Oilseed Plant is seeking a skilled Welder to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment and infrastructure. This role is responsible for performing welding, fabrication, and repair work on a wide range of industrial equipment in a fast-paced agricultural processing environment.

The Welder will work closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure all welding work meets ADM's standards for safety, quality, and operational excellence. This position requires flexibility, including shift work, weekends, and after-hours call-outs as needed to support plant operations.

What You'll Do
  • Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication work using various processes (e.g., SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW)
  • Repair and fabricate structural steel, piping, guards, platforms, and plant equipment components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with specifications
  • Troubleshoot and repair damaged or worn equipment components
  • Work in accordance with established safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
  • Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Document work completed and report any equipment or safety concerns
  • Respond to after-hours call-outs and emergency repairs as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Bring
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and other industrial materials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and fabrication drawings
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Commitment to maintaining ADM's high standards for safety, quality, and reliability
Education and Experience
  • Journeyperson Welder certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of welding experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance environment preferred
  • Require a minimum an ABSA certified grade B Pressure welder.
  • Welding tickets or certifications (CWB or equivalent) considered an asset
