Job Summary


The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, shipping products, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment

Work Duties and Required Skills
  • Direct and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
  • Follow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards. Ensures timely and accurate processing of orders, shipments, and deliveries.
  • Implement inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records
  • Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight and related factors of items stored.
  • Inspects the physical condition of warehouse facilities and warehouse and equipment and prepares work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
  • Collaborates with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to streamline processes
  • Responsible for verification of any physical movement of inventory
  • Coordinates movement/supply of raw materials needed for production
  • Responsible for resolving customer inquiries and issues related to warehouse operations
  • Review shipping and receiving paperwork.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment.
  • Provide mentoring and training to colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership.
  • At times, overtime will be required.
  • Ability to lift 55lbs on a consistent basis.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent with strong fundamental skills (math, reading, writing)
  • Prior experience leading / supervising people, preferred.
  • Demonstrated self-starter and able to self-monitor with minimal oversight.
  • Results driven to provide support to achieve the goals established by leadership.
  • The ability to provide motivation to the direct reports and demonstrate leadership qualities to all personnel.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Applicant must have the ability to direct others, make timely decisions, and complete safety and work permits, as well as shipping logs.
  • Computer skills and capability with Microsoft Products
  • Applicant must be able to work in all types of climates both inside and out including extreme hot and cold temperatures, noisy environments, heights, dusty environments, all of which require use of Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Ability to climb stairs, access ladders, catwalks and elevated working platforms across all hours of shift working time. Job also requires some lifting, sit and stand for long periods of time, work with heights, bending, kneeling and respirator qualified.
