A Warehouse Operator is responsible for varied daily tasks such as checking goods in, arranging goods out, repacking orders, working safely and to food hygiene standards, accepting incoming orders, processing and packing orders, inventory reconciliations and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner. This role involves the use of Counter balance & Aisle Master forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Assisting with unloading of vehicles, receiving in goods and inspecting them to company set standards
2 Sorting and placing both raw and finished materials on to racks and shelves
3 Schedule based Picking of both Customer and Production orders from the warehouse ready for packing/processing
4 Packing Customer orders ready for shipping to an exceptional standard
5 Perform daily cycle counts, reconciliation and assist with inventory audits.
6 Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat and tidy
7 Complying to company procedures, rules, and regulations
8 Enforcing inventory controls to assist a minimum of 98% Stock accuracy
9 Using a PC and a handheld scanner to input data to maintain inventory levels
10 Communicating with other departments within the business
11 Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits reconciliation
12 KPIs maintenance
13 Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
14 Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
15 Any other duties as required by your manager or company director

3 High attention to detail in producing a quality output and able to maintain this when under pressure
4 Presentable, with excellent communication skills
5 Works well under pressure - flexible and able to prioritise on a variety of tasks

Skills and Qualifications Required:
1 Forklift Truck experience
2 Information Technology literacy (IT)
3 Stock control experience
4 Literacy and numeracy skills
