This is a full-time, hourly position

Position Summary:

We are looking for a high potential individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities at our Ama, LA grain processing facility. This position reports to the shift supervisor.

Job Description:
  • Required to work any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays as needed. The shift schedules include 8-12 hour shifts on a rotational (4-2) schedule.
  • Perform tasks, including but not limited to:
    • General housekeeping- can consist of clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, shoveling, painting, oiling, greasing, lubrication, sample retrieval, power washing,
    • Material Handling- can consist of shoveling, moving materials by hand, cart, powered industrial trucks, golf carts.
    • Take part in any various Operational/Maintenance Tasks including: Rail Operations, Barge Unloading/Loading, Bin deck/Basement Operations, Dryer Operations, Truck Loading/Unloading Operations, and Preventative Maintenance.
  • You will be expected to show an ability to learn functions outside of the general laborer duties to help fill in for temporary or permanent vacancies in other roles (i.e. Utility, Houseman, Tractor Driver and various Operator grades)
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture by possessing a safe working attitude, be an active participant in safety programs, learn and follow written rules and procedures, and produce accurate documentation
  • Required to participate in all Monthly safety trainings and all offered "on the job" trainings.
  • Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
