Your Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for a Treasury Assistant in the City of London, within the Financial Services sector of ADM. To assist in the treasury and general accounts in an all-encompassing accounting role, ideally suited to a candidate that is keen to enter or gain further experience in a Finance/Treasury environment.

The main duties of this role will includeassisting the Treasury function on a daily basis.

Duties will include:
  • Reconcile all bank accounts as well as month end
  • Advise Risk and Trading Desks of any funds received and discuss any associated problems
  • Preparation and input of payments into banking system for authorisation
  • Update spreadsheets with payments/receipts
  • Write any cheques and pass on for signing
  • Deal with any queries which might be on going regarding client payments/receipts
  • Application of Client Money Rules (CASS) in regard to payments/receipts/checking bank details
  • Processing FX Swaps
  • Daily cash management- Inflows and outflows and updating cash sheet
  • Account closures
  • Complete and process the Client Money Reconciliation and Cash transfer at the bank daily to be signed off by the CAOO
Your Profile
  • Microsoft Office - Intermediate level
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team to achieve deadlines
  • GCSE level standard required (minimum Grade 6 for both Mathematics and English)
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Good level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • At least 1 year work experience in an office environment
