Transport Scheduler & PlannerBased in Trnava, Slovakia

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate internally with sales, customer service and production teams and is responsible for the delivery of customer orders in accordance with the provisions of the sales contract, on time, in full and in quality
  • Oversee warehouse duties including quality assurance, inventory control, logistics, shipping, and is responsible for the inventory accuracy and compliance of the logistics activities in the given locations
  • Analyze and report shipping costs, planning and quality
  • Review of received shipping invoices
  • Backup for other transport schedulers and planners
  • Process freight request and estimate transport costs of new businesses
  • Provide support to the commercial team with logistics information and knowledge
  • Update and maintain logistics data in the systems
  • Report on logistics costs, performance of service providers, and define improvement plans
  • Contribute to the optimization and improvement of the costs of the Supply Chain (increase payload, optimize distribution network, decrease warehousing costs, improve distribution network ...)
  • Support the yearly budget and tendering processes, and perform Ad Hoc analysis
Candidate requirements:
  • S/V
  • Experience or background in logistics (> 2 years) and possibly in food industry
  • Business English, both written and spoken (min. B2 level)
  • Good MS Office skills and knowledge, with advanced level in Excel
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to learn new software
  • A creative & analytical approach with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the many disciplines in the organization
  • Ability to deliver under pressure with a high standard and short deadlines
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-changing environment and manage multiple priorities
