General
  • The Source to Pay group in Global Business Services is responsible for the processes of accounts payable and travel and expense. This includes invoice processing, payment processing, reporting, invoice exception, monitoring, and inquiry resolution related to the processes. The group will support the initiatives of the Source to Pay Global Process Owner and will comply with SOX controls for invoice and payment processing. The group will follow ADM's Global Non-Commodity Procure-to-Pay Process Policy, Global Travel Policy, and Purchase Card Policy.
  • T&E Specialists at ADM Global Business Services have proven ability to think and work independently. They possess the ability to identify problems or opportunities for improvement and regularly propose solutions to problems. T&E Specialists are expected to independently manage projects of increasing complexity and have a strong understanding of accounting systems and processes. They must demonstrate a high level of self-confidence in dealing with management at various levels and various administrative, commercial, and operations areas, as applicable. They should be considered an expert in assigned areas and have demonstrated ability to see projects through to completion. T&E Specialists will be responsible for reporting data and projects for implementation globally.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate daily operations and resolve travel-related inquiries for the North America region.
  • Administer Concur and support employees in submitting reports on a regular basis.
  • Administer corporate credit cards, including monitoring bank statement payments.
  • Support month-end closing activities, including providing data for travel account postings.
  • Support T&E ERP bookings, including reviewing personal expenses and correcting/auditing AP errors.
  • Ensure service quality through KPI monitoring and compliance with SOX and corporate policies.
  • Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives, and maintain high-quality process documentation.
  • Support new Concur, corporate card, and travel agency implementations, including testing and conducting training.
  • Provide high-quality service to senior management.
  • Collaborate with team members, internal and external auditors, and cross-functional departments.
  • Represent ADM in meetings with corporate card providers, travel agencies, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with internal ADM systems including IBM (APGO), Concur, JDE, etc.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail; inquisitive, diligent, and well-organized.
  • Ability to share knowledge and information at different levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to successfully resolve and manage conflict.
  • Desire to work with cross-cultural teams and maintain strong relationships with business partners.
Education
  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor Degree Preferred
