Stevedoring Shift Lead - ARTCo Stevedoring - Waggaman, LA

This is a full time, hourly level position

Position Summary:

ADM is seeking a Shift Lead for stevedoring operations. The position will work a rotating AM/PM shift.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage colleagues in operation of crane to facilitate the stevedoring operation
- Insure care and housekeeping on crane is being carried out by Stevedores
Coordinate with vessel and barge fleets to implement vessel discharge plans
Complete forms associated with Shift Lead position and vessel discharges
Train colleagues in appropriate responsibilities and tasks
Safety:
- Conduct daily and required safety meetings
- Safety Work Permit's
- Insure colleagues are following company standards
- Review and insure SOP's and Work Instructions are being followed
Insure that rig personnel are completing required rig documentation
- Inventories, inspections, logs
Assist in maintain inventory of ARTCo Stevedoring stock and supplies
Sufficient computer skills to complete job responsibilities and log submittals

Physical Requirements:

Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and Company human performance exam (physical ability test)
Standing for prolonged periods of time
Able to lift 50lbs
Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending and climbing stairs/ladders
Ability to work near or on large bodies of water, at various heights and in confined spaces
Ability to climb in and out of hatches
