Sr. Manager Global RTR Operations Excellence

This is a full-time, exempt position.

Job Scope:

The Sr. Manager Global Record to Report (RTR) Operations Excellence is accountable for managing the activities below:
    • Execute on key projects identified in RTR.
    • Implementation and maintenance of RTR end-to-end global RTR processes and improvements.
    • Maintaining the integrity of our global operating model and processes is key to protecting our investment in shared systems, executing common processes and leveraged work groups.
    • Maintaining and updating the process performance for RTR services.
    • Accountable for driving continuous process improvement within RTR, as well as leveraging technology and shared resources.
    • Enforce the integrity of RTR processes, reporting and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
    • Maintain key KPI's for RTR.
Overview of Key Responsibilities:

  • Key liaison on delivering process efficiency and effectiveness within RTR business processes, working across functional domains.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of RTR operations and track progress against key performance indicators.
  • Manage the Balance Sheet Reporting and assist in Blackline implementations.
  • Deliver enhanced process performance and efficiency built on standard RTR processes as legal/regulatory, technical and business changes occur.
  • Change Management and cultural transformation act as a change agent to drive the adoption of continuous improvement and operational excellence principles.
  • Build strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and commitment to improvement initiatives.
  • Prioritize initiatives and process optimization to meet business requirements.
• Manages other GBS related RTR projects.

Level of Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Work Experience and Skills Required:
  • 15+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience running accounting/finance operations in a shared-service or GBS model.
  • Sound knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and SOX
  • Experience with SAP and Blackline is preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Proven track record of process improvement
  • Proficient in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience in managing multiple projects at one time and strong data analytics
  • Familiarity with financial planning, forecasting and analysis processes
  • Visualization and communication skills (to a wide range of audiences both technical and non-technical) is required
  • Strong functional understanding of ADM's operating structure desired
  • Experience with Power BI and large ERP systems (e.g. JDE, SAP, etc) a plus
