South Side Production Operator (Spray Dry, Dry Blends, MID, Dairy, & Weigh Ups) - Erlanger, KY

This is an hourly level position. 1st, 2nd,and 3rdshifts available.

Job Summary:

The Production Operator in our Dry Blends, Spray Dry, Dairy, MID, and Weigh Ups area safely and successfully performs the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. This position currently has openings on 2ndand/or 3rdshift.

JobResponsibilities:

Commit to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
Ensure that all ingredients are present and in the correct quantities
Ability to make in-process adjustments based on analytical data (Temp., moisture, flow, etc..)
Ensure accurate additions of raw materials and intermediates into batches
Operate blenders in accordance with SOP's or management guidance/instructions
Operate steam jacketed kettles, vacuum dryers, homogenizers, and pumps
Comfortable in processing meat in accordance with USDA standards
Responsible for ancillary equipment within a manufacturing environment (sieves, batching systems, etc.)
Set up and break down the equipment and make necessary adjustments
Use SAP, CMS, and MWS transactions needed for blending
Accurately document all work to ensure lot traceability, HACCP checks, etc.
Work in compliance with all GMP, OSHA, food safety and internal safety guidelines

Required Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills
Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
Exhibit regular and timely attendance
Willing to work overtime and weekends if needed
Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and supportive attitude
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
Ability to pay attention to and focus on small details. i.e., lot numbers, order numbers, etc.
Flexibility in accepting change and an attitude of continuous improvement

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely and successful perform the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Able to lift 50lbs on a continuous basis throughout an 8 hour shift
Ability to stand, walk, lift, reach and bend throughout an 8 hour shift
Strong communication skills
Capability to be self-motivated and have ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
Strong attention to detail
Performing routine work assignments and following directions with moderate supervision
Prior experience driving a forklift and working in a batch-processing or manufacturing environment
Wear a respirator
