Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise & Product Development
  • Recognized cross-functional expert in Specialized Nutrition, Powder Blends and Powder Solutions.
  • Solid technical knowledge of product processing, ingredients, and ingredient interactions, as well as continuous self-driven knowledge building.
  • Management and coordination of the development of innovative solutions in Food & Beverage applications from concept to production, ensuring quality, safety, productivity, effectiveness, and timelines.
  • Recipe and raw material management for quality assurance.
  • Standardization and strategic expansion of the product portfolio.
  • Independent planning, coordination, and organization of innovation and product adaptation projects, including documentation and evaluation.
2. Project & Portfolio Management
  • Extensive experience in managing project work and developing the ADM/raw materials portfolio to meet customer requirements.
  • Management of selected development and customer programs and technical teams to achieve portfolio and business goals.
  • Self-responsible coordination and prioritization of own tasks to meet high-priority requirements.
  • Build up standard processes for the production of specialized nutrition products, powder blends and powder solutions in food to guarantee smooth project flow between stakeholders and partners.
  • Establish clear ways of working and responsibilities within CD&D Food to accelerate developments, product and recipe transfers, and delivery of developed goods.
3. Leadership & Team Management
  • Functional, professional lead of cross-functional projects and teams.
  • Good leadership skills to guide teams confidently and in a motivating manner.
  • Available to advise colleagues and customers at any time with expert knowledge.
  • Transfer of knowledge and experience to other sub-areas and within the Food team.
4. Strategic Development & Business Growth
  • Strategic development of the responsible product category.
  • Development of strategies to expand customer relationships together with the Food Leadership Team.
  • Cross-business developments to strengthen collaboration and innovation across divisions.
5. Collaboration & Interfaces
  • Technical contact person for various internal departments.
  • Interface to external co-manufacturers and internal production sites (e.g., FDL Walden).
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution.
Profile:
  • University degree in food or beverage technology or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in the food/beverage industry, ideally trained in the development of Powder Blends and Solutions
  • Experience in leading cross functional teams
  • Experience in non-disciplinary leadership and motivation of employees
  • Experience in innovation and project management
  • In-depth technical knowledge and understanding
  • High level of initiative and resilience
  • High social skills, service orientation and communication skills
  • High level of confidence and competent demeanor
  • Solution- and result-focused
  • Quick familiarization with new areas and processes
  • Able to build extensive cross-divisional and cross-functional networks within the organization
  • Profound PC knowledge
  • Very good in German and English
  • Enthusiasm for innovative solutions and trends in the food and beverage industry
  • Open to new challenges and agile working
  • Willingness to travel (30-40 %)
