The RoleThe Senior Marketing Manager, Japan & Korea will partner with the sales leaders in both markets to accelerate growth and strengthen ADM's leadership in the beverage flavors segment. The role is responsible for uncovering actionable consumer and market insights, developing compelling brand and category strategies, and translating data-driven findings into impactful marketing initiatives, including the i2L (Insight to Launch) innovation program that drive sustainable business growth.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging global and regional marketing strategies with local market realities, co-leading with Commercial, CD&D, and cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable go-to-market tactics. This individual will also identify opportunities to strengthen ADM's competitive positioning through tailored local strategies aligned with Japan and Korea's unique market dynamics.Your ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
  • Propose, align, and execute locally relevant marketing strategies based on ADM's strengths and weaknesses, complementing global and regional frameworks to provide clear guidance to Sales and CD&D teams for commercial success.
  • Co-lead with CD&D and Sales teams to localize and operationalize global/regional strategies, leveraging market insights across both consumer and manufacturer segments to drive engagement and business results.
  • Identify and assess local capability gaps and opportunities. Collaborate with APeC stakeholders beyond Japan and Korea to co-develop and implement marketing solutions that enhance ADM's competitiveness across both markets.
Marketing Innovation Program Execution
  • Lead and execute the proactive i2L (Insight to Launch) innovation program, driving concept development and activation in alignment with customer and market needs.
Market & Customer Engagement
  • Lead marketing projects, customer visits, and presentations in collaboration with commercial and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and deepen strategic partnerships.
Insights & Analytics
  • Conduct market research, consumer data analysis, and trend monitoring to generate actionable insights and targeted customer presentations.
Market Reporting:
  • Analyze and interpret relevant data sources to develop insightful reports on market size, category dynamics, and emerging trends that inform business planning.
Marketing Communications:
  • Develop high-quality marketing materials, storytelling narratives, and product demonstrations that effectively communicate ADM's value proposition and technical expertise to customers.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field; over 7 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within the flavors or beverage industry.
  • Experience in market research and analysis, including proficiency with relevant industry databases.
  • Strong ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable insights and compelling, story-driven presentations.
  • Demonstrate strategic mindset with experience collaborating across commercial, R&D, and marketing functions to build go-to-market strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a matrixed environment.
  • Hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Passion for beverages and food.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English. Proficiency in Korean is an advantage.
