Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex projects with high ambiguity, applying appropriate methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Uphold project governance throughout the lifecycle.
  • Align projects with business goals and provide strategic direction.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Manage scope, cost, and time adjustments effectively.
  • Deliver outcomes defined by Product Owner (Agile) or Scope (Waterfall).
  • Ensure projects stay within budget and financial guidelines.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and foster collaboration.
  • Oversee vendor alignment with project goals and expectations.
  • Manage large teams with internal and external resources.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement within teams.
  • Collaborate with PMO leadership to align strategies with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience managing medium-to-complex projects across multiple workstreams/business areas.
  • Advanced French (B2+).
  • Bachelor's in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PMI, Prince2); Scrum/SAP certifications are a plus.
  • Pro-active and self-started approach.
  • Strategic planning to align projects with organizational goals.
  • Mentor project managers and teams; build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Risk management with contingency planning.
  • Foster innovation and improve project outcomes.
  • Set clear performance standards and provide feedback/coaching.
Hybrid type of work - 3 days per week from the office in Amsterdam.
