We are looking for a Senior Costing Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving product cost automation, maintaining cost accuracy, and ensuring transparency across all cost-related processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and global partners to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in product costing and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Document business processes, workflows, and requirements related to the product cost automation initiative.
Ensure effective functionality and continuous improvement of price calculation tools.
Maintain and manage the standard cost of goods sold within the SAP workflow.
Evaluate standard price variances and determine necessary standard cost adjustments.
Collaborate with the product cost team, business partners, leadership, and IT to develop and implement technical solutions that improve efficiency and quality of product cost reporting.
Monitor transfer price calculations in line with existing guidelines, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to approval processes for exceptions.
Execute month-end closing activities under SAP CO-PC and provide inventory valuation in compliance with SOX Control Standards.
Support material master data administration.
Deliver full cost transparency for all sold articles and support the pricing process efficiently.
Lead or participate in special projects, focusing on new business integrations and system rollouts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
Extensive years of professional experience in Finance within a multinational environment.
Proven experience in controlling, cost accounting, costing/pricing, and related financial processes.
Strong working knowledge of SAP modules (PP, MM, CO) and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Business-fluent in English.
Ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively across functions (I2L, S2P, P2D, PTC) and regions.
