We are looking for a Senior Costing Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving product cost automation, maintaining cost accuracy, and ensuring transparency across all cost-related processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and global partners to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in product costing and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Document business processes, workflows, and requirements related to the product cost automation initiative.
  • Ensure effective functionality and continuous improvement of price calculation tools.
  • Maintain and manage the standard cost of goods sold within the SAP workflow.
  • Evaluate standard price variances and determine necessary standard cost adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the product cost team, business partners, leadership, and IT to develop and implement technical solutions that improve efficiency and quality of product cost reporting.
  • Monitor transfer price calculations in line with existing guidelines, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to approval processes for exceptions.
  • Execute month-end closing activities under SAP CO-PC and provide inventory valuation in compliance with SOX Control Standards.
  • Support material master data administration.
  • Deliver full cost transparency for all sold articles and support the pricing process efficiently.
  • Lead or participate in special projects, focusing on new business integrations and system rollouts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Extensive years of professional experience in Finance within a multinational environment.
  • Proven experience in controlling, cost accounting, costing/pricing, and related financial processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP modules (PP, MM, CO) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Business-fluent in English.
  • Ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively across functions (I2L, S2P, P2D, PTC) and regions.
