About the Position

Operations - For those employees who work on the manufacturing side of the business and are directly involved in producing the final product.

Duties and Responsibilities

Dump and load trucks and railcars
Operate a grain dryer
Assist with grain handling including shipping and receiving of grain commodities, grading procedures & bin cleanout procedures
General housekeeping duties
General maintenance, as needed
All other duties required

Required Skills and Qualifications

Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
Computer literacy is a bonus
Proactive and results oriented
Highly organized
Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed

Education or Work Experience

High school education or equivalent

Additional Information

History of working safely and a reputation for promoting and getting involved in safety improvement efforts
Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc), lift up to 55 lbs
Willing to work overtime, shiftwork and weekends, if needed
