Sales Manager Semi Commodities

Sales Manager to lead our Semi Commodities Business Unit in South Africa. This is a key leadership role in highly strategic markets for ADM and has significant autonomy and visibility within the organization to grow and further develop our existing business success by implementing a strong and sustainable sales strategy. Your main goal will be to turn & defend the existing client base and grow the business.

Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for our Semi Commodity sales, including the support of Key Accounts
  • Maximize the potential of existing Animal Nutrition business lines as well as those of Growth
  • Define and execute 5-year Strategy aligned with your leadership along the process
  • Full P&L and Risk Management accountability for your perimeter along leadership guidelines
  • Build / develop high performing support functions (local and within ADM) to help realize growth aspirations
  • Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities for enhancement and growth of the current baseline
  • Control all sales activities with existing and potential customers
  • Create and fulfill own sales plans and budget on the basis of 5Y Plan
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Monthly reporting, sales analytics and insights; understand go-to-market strategy and how to maximize sales efficiency
  • Stay up to date on industry trend analysis, competitors' activity and changing consumer behaviors through industry publications, events and insights reports to strategically grow the business
  • Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies within the Italian market as well as in EMEA
  • Develop relationships within EMEA with the ADM relating business units (GT, FAI Premix, HN) to enhance cooperation leading to sales growth
  • Coordinate sales department and technical department interaction
  • Lead the preparation, update and analysis of the relevant data for each of the key trade flows gathering public and internal Reporting, trade info, S&D's and competitor profiling
