JOB PURPOSE

  • To serve as a senior member of the commercial team in North Vietnam. Duties involve working with the customers and technical departments. The people have to develop the turnover of the company and add new customers to the client portfolio. He contributes to defining and adjusting the commercial policy.
  • He contributes to permanently analyzing market needs and participates to enrich the portfolio with new products and technical services.
  • Lead the development of the retail and direct farm business line: survey and analyze the nutritional solutions market, identify potential products, contribute to new product development (formulation, packaging, point of sales, pricing, and direct sales to farms and retailers), and recruit and manage the sales team.
  • Sales and support for the existing premix and feed additives sales team for sales to feed producers.
DUTIES:

Prospection:
  • Organize business trips to meet directly with large customers and potential customers to introduce our products.
  • Before each meeting, prepare a specific presentation on product benefits, advantages over competing products, and customized solutions for each customer. Customers should be classified according to size and potential level to prioritize approach.
Market analysis:
  • Carefully investigate customer needs, including product type, quantity, specifications, and price to come up with appropriate production solutions.
  • Monitor and record customer needs in detail to predict trends and promptly respond to future requirements.
  • Analyze market characteristics of each region to adjust sales strategies accordingly, for example, in terms of pricing, marketing, or specific products by region. Build specialized sales teams by region to create flexibility and efficiency.
Develop new products
  • Produce a separate product according to customer requirements, then develop that product to sell to other customers.
  • Evaluate the possibility of expanding production for customized products into new product lines or developing "generic versions" of products based on popular requests.
  • Research the products that the company is strong in and produce 1-2 high-quality products to sell to customers.
  • Incorporate new technology or innovative materials in the product development process to increase competitiveness. At the same time, ensure that the product is thoroughly tested before launching to the market.
Sales and sales management
  • Develop turnover and profitability of the "Premix and FA&I" business by bringing new customers and developing the range of new products.
  • Leverage existing customer relationships to introduce and sell nutritional products, additives and premixes.
  • Create a loyalty program or special discounts for long-term partners to increase sales and engagement. Organize regular customer conferences to share experiences, trends and new products.
  • Recruit more experienced sales staff to develop the market and sales.
  • Develop a plan to train and develop in-depth sales skills for new and existing employees, and implement clear personal targets to monitor performance.
  • Leverage the current feed sales staff to sell more nutrition, additives and premix products.
  • Organize new product training courses for the current sales team, and develop an internal incentive program to motivate the sale of new products.

YOUR PROFILE

Education: Bachelor's in veterinary or agriculture, which is related to poultry or swine, genetics, animal health, or animal nutrition.

Years of experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in FA&I sales experience, which includes more than 5 years as a sales leader.

Professional and Technical Proficiency:
  • Field experience that is pertinent to the management of poultry or swine, genetics, animal health, or nutrition.
  • Proficient in all forms of communication, including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation.
  • Capable of generating ideas and solutions, as well as engaging in hands-on problem-solving.
  • Collaborative, project management, and relationship-building abilities
  • Business-savvy individual who is a strong team player .
  • Compassionate, with a comprehensive comprehension of the dynamics and requirements of the market and customers
  • Capacity to participate in technical and operational discussions regarding animal production and scientific data collection, as well as to identify new business opportunities using pertinent research tools.
