Sales Development Manager - Monogastric Animal Nutrition (Spain)

Travel Requirement: Up to 65% across Spain (the Mediterranean Arch, Castilla La Mancha, Western Andaluca)

Department: Commercial - Monogastric Division (Poultry & Swine)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Development Manager to lead commercial growth in the monogastric sector in Spain, with a strong focus on poultry (75%) and swine (25%). Operating across key regions-including the Mediterranean Arch, Andaluca, Aragn, and Castilla La Mancha-you'll engage with existing clients and identify new business opportunities in animal nutrition, additives, enzymes, and biosecurity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business development in the monogastric sector, especially within the poultry segment (layers and broilers).
  • Lead sales negotiations related to premixes, feed additives, enzymes, and biosecurity solutions.
  • Promote the company's portfolio of services and tailor value-added solutions for clients.
  • Maintain and grow a strong customer base through consistent follow-up, relationship-building, and strategic prospecting.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs in nutrition, animal health, and farm management.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven sales experience in the monogastric animal nutrition market in Spain, with a strong focus on poultry.
  • Solid knowledge in animal nutrition, pathology, and production management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
Valued Additional Experience (a plus)
  • Previous roles in premix, feed additives, pharmaceutical, genetic, or production companies.
  • Experience with slaughterhouses or processing companies, particularly where strategic market relationships were developed.
Additional Requirements
  • Flexibility to travel extensively within Spain (up to 65% of the time).
  • Strong interpersonal skills: empathy, teamwork, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to one of the preferred regions.
