As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving quality systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting key quality-related activities. Your responsibilities will include:

Compliance & Audits:
  • Ensure compliance with GMP guidelines and site standards.
  • Conduct hygiene, fabric, and other site audits.
  • Assist in audit preparation and accreditation maintenance.
Quality Systems & Documentation:
  • Help maintain company quality systems, including document review and updates.
  • Assist with HACCP system maintenance and traceability exercises/requests.
  • Review and approve specifications and maintain specification logs.
Customer & Supplier Support:
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, deviations, and non-conforming products.
  • Assist with customer queries, requests, and traceability exercises.
  • Maintain supplier documentation for services.
Training & Reporting:
  • Assist in delivering quality-related training.
  • Support data collection for KPI reporting.
Food Safety & Health Standards:
  • Ensure food safety, integrity, legality, and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies.
Active Pharmaceutical Products / Licensed Products:
  • Review batch production and laboratory control records before product release.
  • Assist with product quality reviews and release/rejection of raw materials, intermediates, packaging, and labeling materials.
  • Approve work instructions and support commissioning/validation activities.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Deputise for the Quality Manager(s) in their absence.
  • Perform internal audits (self-inspections).
Skills & Abilities

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and abilities:
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage your own schedule and workload effectively.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software.
  • Education & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Experience working to BRC and ISO9001 standards.
  • Experience working to GMP guidelines (desirable).
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life science industries (advantageous).
  • Experience in a similar quality assurance role.
