An opportunity has arisen for a Production Manager at our Seaforth, Liverpool site. The Production Manager will provide leadership of the site operation's team to achieve a safe, efficient flour milling operation to meet the requirements of the business.
Your Responsibilities
Effectively manage the Milling Operation from wheat intake to finished product while implementing manufacturing excellence .
Lead the site operations team to achieve an efficient & effective, integrated milling and warehouse operation, meeting all manufacturing performance standards in terms of output, quality & yield, consistent with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Lead a Safety focussed team and ensure effective implementation of all Safety, Health, Environmental and Food safety requirements directly related to the overall operation.
Effectively assist with the management of the integrity of site operational assets to ensure they are able to operate in a safe, efficient manner in line with the business requirements.
Drive operational improvements, Performance Excellence and energy reduction initiatives.
Effectively manage and control production costs.
Ensure Customer service level targets are achieved.
Liaise with other business functions to ensure the supply chain operates efficiently.
Your Profile
Ideally educated to HND/degree level in a Production, Manufacturing or Engineering discipline or the ability to operate at this level
Experience in food manufacturing, or continuous process industries
Project management experience preferred
Knowledge of H&S, process safety and engineering processes
Food safety and Quality understanding, with HAACP level 3 or higher (or working towards).
