Role Overview: The Product Owner will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of digital finance solutions focused on eInvoicing and automated cash application. This role bridges business, technology, and customer needs to deliver seamless, compliant, and scalable solutions that enhance cash flow visibility, reduce manual processing, and improve customer satisfaction. The eInvoicing portion of this role is focused solely on outbound invoices to customers, part of the Prospect to Cash (P2C) end-to-end.

You will be responsible for defining product requirements, managing the roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative automation capabilities that transform the order-to-cash process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Vision & Strategy
    • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for eInvoicing and cash application automation
    • Align product goals with organizational objectives and market opportunities
    • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with GBS, Global Technology (GT), tax, accounting, and commercial teams to gather requirements and prioritize features
    • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams
    • Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
    • Partner with Source to Pay (S2P) team to ensure a consistent and collaborative design of eInvoicing platform
  • Product Development & Delivery
    • Own the product backlog, ensuring prioritization based on business value and ROI
    • Collaborate with system analysts to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions
    • Oversee product testing, rollout, and adoption across businesses and regions
  • Performance & Optimization
    • Define KPIs and success metrics for eInvoicing and cash application tools
    • Continuously analyze product performance and user feedback to drive improvements
    • Support data-driven decision-making to enhance automation accuracy and efficiency
  • Compliance & Security
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards related to electronic invoicing, data privacy, and financial transactions
    • Collaborate with compliance and security teams to maintain auditability and trustworthiness
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience and strong knowledge of Prospect-to-Cash / Order-to-Cash processes (invoicing, AR) is a must have
  • Experience as Product Owner / Product Manager/ Business Analyst/ Project Manager/ Process Owner roles or similar (fintech, ERP, automation)
  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate technical solutions into business
  • Proven track record in ERP integrations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in payment matching or invoice recognition
  • Understanding of global eInvoicing compliance and digital tax regulations
  • Experience with eInvoicing standards (e.g., PEPPOL, UBL, XML) and cash application tools
Willingness to work 3 days per week from our Pozna office is a must-have.
