Main Responsibilities:

The hub team lead (for Vietnam and Cambodia) will be in 50% performing the hub buyer role and in 50% will be the leader for his/her entire region.

As a hub buyer, his/her tasks will be

  • Timely and accurate review of all submitted PRs (purchase requests) and conversion to POs (purchase orders) across all ADM locations, responsible for ensuring compliance with the Global Non-Commodity Source-to-Pay Policy
  • Understanding critical items and services, and developing and implementing strategies to mitigate supply risks
  • Partnering with PR creators across all locations to provide on-time, robust communication
  • Communicate approved purchase orders to suppliers and overall management of relationships with key suppliers, submission of Supplier Incident Report forms for all issues related to delivery, quality, price, etc.
  • Manage the supply base of the locations developing mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers
  • Identify and present opportunities for cost reduction. Drive sourcing projects and negotiations with local and regional suppliers as needed.
  • Partner with the Shared Services team to ensure timely payment of supplier invoices and work to address S2P issues which may cause bottlenecks for invoice processing
  • Work with locations to ensure maximization of strategic/contracted supplier agreements


As a hub lead he/she will be additionally responsible for:

  • Settlement and development of the regional hub (structure, system and procedures) and alignment on that with the other regional leaders in Asia. This will also involve significant interaction with Global Procurement, and all locations, and require constant collaboration with stakeholders to achieve a world-class purchasing model
  • He/she will be responsible for overall hub performance, achieved KPIs and goals, he/she will drive region/ country/ location wise optimization projects and search for savings and efficiencies across the whole P2P process.
  • The hub team lead will be responsible for reporting Hub metrics and will be closely co-operating with APAC Director to align on APAC Purchasing Hub vision & long term strategy


REQUIREMENT

Skills: (Languages, computer skills, etc.)

  • Self-driven team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills (collaboration across regions and functions, co-operation with external partners and suppliers)
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Understanding of Procure-to-Pay process, purchasing intelligence, able to set up priorities and manage aggressive assignments
  • Experienced in adapting e-Sourcing concepts in procurement activities. Proficient in using relevant e-Sourcing tools.
  • Experience of managing 3+ persons team within a multicultural and multinational organization
  • Fluent English is a must
  • General knowledge of software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), knowledge of Maximo (procurement module)
  • CIPS or CPSM certification is a plus
Additional Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Economics or equivalent or 5 years of purchasing experience (indirect or direct materials).
  • Preferred Experience in Food/ Agri-business industry.
