The Printed Packaging Coordinator is responsible for logging, tracking, and monitoring all packaging artwork that moves through the company. They will engage with external parties and internal stakeholders on a daily basis to discuss changes and updates to packaging artwork for both B2C and B2B2C. They will assist the PPM and SPPC and manage artwork modifications that arise from the approval process.
Main Responsibilities:
Logging, recording and tracking incoming artwork requests for efficient processing.
Implement artwork amendments resulting from IFS rejections, ensuring standards are met.
Initiate artwork structure supersessions and manage phaseout of old packaging stock.
Oversee stock control of obsolete packaging in IFS, minimizing leftover old stock.
Coordinating and follow up on overdue artwork approvals for timely completion.
Distribute artwork for customer approval, send to print, and create proof documentation.
Oversee the creation, distribution, and maintenance of Packaging Text Documents for ADM Protexin branded products.
Update and populate the weekly migration sheet with packaging and marketing codes for IFS.
Maintaining the cutter guide library, ensuring all guides remain up to date.
Upload packaging artwork and pack copy to Canto for easy access and organization.
Perform quality checks on new packaging to ensure it meets all specifications and requirements.
Maintain packaging retain library and colour standards.
Assist with creating and maintaining Packaging Specification documents for all printed packaging.
Support the Printed Packaging Manager and Senior Printed Packaging Coordinator with ad hoc tasks.
Skills & Abilities:
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Illustrator/InDesign) • A strong eye for detail • Copy reading • Excellent organisational and time-management skills • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • A high standard of computer literacy. Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Good numeracy skills • Drive, determination and enthusiasm
Education & Experience: (University degree, work experience, industry, etc.)
Proven experience as an administrator, or similar role.
Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite desirable, but not critical (Illustrator/InDesign)
Experience using an ERP system (e.g. IFS) is desirable, but not essential.
