The Role: Plant Operator
Are you looking to start or grow your career in a dynamic, hands-on production environment? Join our team in Vanscoy, SK, as a Plant Operator Worker-a key entry-level role within our lentil/pea processing operations.
You'll gain valuable experience across all plant functions, with structured training and opportunities to progress into an Operator role over time.
What You'll Do
Learn and perform a variety of plant operations (training provided)
Be cross-trained in multiple roles to support operational needs
Troubleshoot equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
Carry out general sanitation duties in accordance with food safety programs (GMP, HACCP)
Handle materials and perform light maintenance activities
Follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements, including EHS standards
What You Bring
A strong commitment to safety and the ability to work independently
Clear communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Availability for shift work, overtime, and weekend coverage
Basic computer skills, numeracy, and strong attention to detail
A desire to build a long-term career in operations, with demonstrated ambition to advance
Education, Certification & Career Progression
This is an entry-level role; however, successful candidates will be expected to pursue and progress toward one of the following certifications as part of their career development:
Fourth or Fifth Class Power Engineering, or
Fireman Boiler Operator certification
ADM will support development and progression in alignment with operational needs and performance expectations
Additional Information
Must successfully complete a pre-employment medical and reference check
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (no relocation support offered)
