For our plant in Morocco, we are seeking a Plant Manager to oversee and lead operations.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve full compliance with local and ADM's safety regulations/standards and promote safety culture across all employees (reports and contractors) and ensure the location meets its goals

• Ensure facility operates and complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) of the Food/ Feed industry, for Food safety and / or the applicable regulations in the relevant field,

• Ensure teams conduct reliable production processes within the boundaries of (process) safety, environment, quality, costs, and quantity,

• Align location/division/region business strategy and goals with local management team e.g. commercial, finance, HR and cascade it down,

• Drive effective performance management throughout the plant (including goal setting, development and strengths-based feedback) focused on building competent and motivated teams to achieve discretionary performance,

• Ensure the location related (non) technical projects and day-to-day activities deliver on a cost effective and timely basis to achieve results,

• Participate in diverse (European) internal and external meetings with customers, authorities, auditors and other stakeholders,

• Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders (authorities, customers, auditors) ,

• Manage critical situations and inform management, and subject matter experts,

• Conduct planning and analysis of the plant operations in conjunction with location management team e.g. commercial, finance, HR to ensure optimization and efficiency,

• Report operational results to senior management,

• Manage the work council meetings, and drives relationships, negotiations and local agreements with staff representatives and unions,

• Is the privileged interlocutor of external and internal stakeholders and ensures the proper flow of information.

The successful candidate will have :

• Diploma : Engineering degree, preferably in Food Science,

• Display safety Leadership, setting clear goals and fostering a culture where safety is a shared responsibility,

• Experience of minimum 10 years in a leadership position in a continuous operating industrial environment, preferably Food/Feed Industry or Chemical process industry,

• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to communicate clear objectives, provide constructive feedback, suggest improvement, drive sustainable change, coach, engage and develop cross-functional teams, familiar what a matrix organization structure,

• Strong problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills and continuous improvement, understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology,

• Strong communication skills, outstanding team player,

• Knowledge of GMP and quality systems for Food/Feed production standards including HACCP,

• Fluent in English, CEFR C1 level.
