Your Responsibilities

• Team Supervision & Leadership:
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they follow company procedures and safety protocols.
  • Assign tasks to maintenance staff and ensure daily activities are performed efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to the maintenance team, helping them develop their skills.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of maintenance staff, offering feedback and support for improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment to ensure team success.
• Maintenance Planning & Scheduling:
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery based on preventive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Manage emergency repairs and unplanned maintenance work to ensure minimal disruption to production operations.
  • Oversee the planning of major repairs and maintenance projects, including managing resources, budgets, and timelines.
• Equipment & Facility Management:
  • Ensure all machinery, equipment, and systems are well-maintained and operating efficiently.
  • Perform regular inspections of plant equipment and facilities to detect mechanical issues, wear and tear, and any required repairs or upgrades.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment or machinery in the facility.
  • Ensure that all repairs are completed promptly, and equipment is restored to full working condition.
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all maintenance personnel and plant employees.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections of equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure that maintenance work complies with local regulations, industry standards, and company safety policies.
  • Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards in all maintenance activities.
• Budget & Inventory Management:
  • Oversee the maintenance department budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and resources are utilized effectively.
  • Manage the procurement of parts, tools, and materials needed for maintenance tasks, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Track and control inventory of spare parts and ensure that stock levels are sufficient for routine and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure that maintenance supplies are ordered and available to avoid delays in the maintenance process.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor the performance and efficiency of maintenance operations, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and review maintenance reports for management, including performance metrics, cost analysis, and maintenance activities.
  • Track maintenance issues, downtime, and work orders, reporting trends and providing suggestions for improvements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, including completed repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team by encouraging suggestions, implementing best practices, and improving maintenance processes.
  • Analyze equipment performance data and trends to identify opportunities for optimization and to reduce unscheduled downtime.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at improving maintenance efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing equipment reliability.


Your Profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field is a plus).

• Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance role, with 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership position in an industrial, manufacturing, or similar setting.
  • Strong experience with mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and best practices.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, equipment maintenance, and repair procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Leadership & Communication Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with team members, other departments, and management.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address maintenance challenges efficiently.
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to enforce safety protocols and lead safety initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
