Your Responsibilities
  • Production Planning & Coordination:
    • Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Production Supervisors to develop and implement production schedules based on customer orders and inventory needs.
    • Monitor the progress of production and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines or respond to unexpected challenges.
    • Coordinate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.
    • Track production targets and report progress, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Resource Allocation & Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and supplies.
    • Ensure that all necessary tools, equipment, and machinery are available and functioning for production processes.
    • Preparation of billings on manpower, utilities and other plant related costs, for Plant Manager's approval and forward to accounting for payment
  • Cross-Department Coordination:
    • Act as the liaison between different departments (e.g., production, maintenance, quality control, logistics) to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow.
    • Address any production-related issues by communicating with relevant teams and facilitating problem-solving.
    • Coordinate with the quality control department to ensure products meet quality standards and resolve any quality-related issues.
    • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure machinery and equipment are maintained and repaired in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Promote a culture of safety within the plant by ensuring that all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
    • Conduct regular safety checks, report hazards, and follow up on safety incidents or concerns.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations, coordinating with the relevant teams to ensure the plant meets all regulatory requirements.
    • Support the Plant Manager in developing and implementing safety protocols and best practices for plant operations.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including schedules, inventory, maintenance activities, and quality control data.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on plant performance, production efficiency, resource usage, and any challenges faced.
    • Document any incidents or safety violations and follow through on corrective actions.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to help improve overall plant efficiency and performance.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify areas of improvement in production processes, resource management, and operational efficiency.
    • Support the Plant Manager in implementing lean manufacturing principles, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Encourage innovation and assist in implementing best practices to reduce waste, increase production efficiency, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Staff Management & Development:
    • Provide guidance and support to plant staff, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their tasks effectively.
    • Assist in managing and resolving any staffing-related issues, such as absenteeism, performance concerns, or conflicts.
    • Support in the recruitment, training, and development of new employees within the plant.
    • Coordinate team meetings to discuss plant performance, production goals, and any issues that need attention.


  • Your Profile
    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field is a plus.
    • Experience:
      • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or coordination role.
      • Experience with production scheduling, inventory management, and resource allocation.
      • Strong understanding of plant operations, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Proficiency with manufacturing software, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
      • Ability to read and interpret production schedules, technical documents, and reports.
      • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, process optimization, and quality control standards.
    • Organizational & Communication Skills:
      • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
      • Ability to lead meetings, provide clear instructions, and relay important information to staff.
    • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making Skills:
      • Ability to identify issues in the production process, troubleshoot problems, and come up with effective solutions.
      • Quick decision-making abilities to respond to production delays or equipment issues.
