Primary job responsibilities are production planning while developing and using analytical tools covering optimization, logistics, and production planning for the Carbohydrate Solutions group. These tools will be focused on linear programming optimizations in the FICO Mosel or C# programming languages. This job will also be expected to apply analytical methods, engineering knowledge, manufacturing information, accounting data, and business awareness to improve on current shipping, manufacturing and product forecasting using advanced operations research tools as necessary. Attention to accuracy and verification of results will be essential for successful analysis. The role will interface with operations and accounting CoE's to ensure accurate modeling of our production assets.
In this role, attention to detail, close collaboration with business users, and the ability to adapt within ambiguous project requirements are essential for success. Some after-hours and weekend work may be needed to ensure system uptime and product delivery. Also, 10% of domestic travel may be required.
Education and experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related technical field with 1 to 5 years of experience.
Experience with some of the following technologies: FICO Xpress, IBM CPLEX, Gurobi, Mosel, Python, C#, .Net, SQL Server, JavaScript
