Pest Control I - Greenwood, FL

This is a full-time, hourly position.

Responsibilities, Duties and Job Expectations

We are looking for a motivated, safety conscious individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities with Procurement at the Golden Peanut Co. Greenwood, Fl. facility.

Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:

Checking warehouses and manage pest control in those warehouses
Checking bait stations at Greenwood, Fl. facility and surrounding Golden Peanut Co. owned buying points
Seal warehouses and participate in fumigation activities
Manage inventory of pest control items, to include some hazardous materials
Drive a company vehicle over 10,000lbs but under 26,000lbs
Assist in general operation of the Golden Peanut facility in Greenwood, Fl.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Possession or ability to obtain a Pest Control Applicators license and CDL with a HAZMAT endorsement
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Ability to drive various heavy equipment
Ability to travel (rarely over night)
Previous farm work is a plus
Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
Able to meet physical requirements of this position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of sitting or standing, kneeling, bending, working in high areas, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of condition, such as heat, cold, dust, lift up to 55lbs. unassisted, shovel and rake different materials
Be willing to work weekends, holidays and overtime if necessary
Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting as needed
Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
