• Operate and monitor control systems and equipment, including automated machinery, HVAC systems, production lines, or electrical distribution systems.
• Observe real-time data and alarms to ensure all systems are functioning within prescribed parameters.
• Adjust controls and settings to maintain optimal production, safety, and environmental conditions.

• Respond promptly to system alarms or faults by troubleshooting issues and taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Identify potential issues before they escalate and notify maintenance or other relevant personnel.
• Coordinate with other departments (maintenance, engineering, etc.) to resolve issues that may impact operations.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations in the control room and surrounding operational areas.
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of system failure, fire, chemical spill, or other critical situations.
• Ensure all safety equipment in the control room is properly maintained and operational.

• Maintain detailed logs of operational events, including equipment status, alarms, and corrective actions taken.
• Prepare and submit regular shift reports, including system performance, incident reports, and any maintenance activities.
• Provide real-time updates and escalate significant issues to supervisors or higher management.

• Communicate effectively with field operators, technicians, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and share updates on system status.
• Serve as a point of contact for all control room-related queries and concerns.
• Ensure continuous communication during shifts, especially during critical operational periods.

• Analyze performance data and provide input on potential improvements to operational systems and procedures.
• Participate in the implementation of system upgrades or changes, ensuring proper operation and training.
• Regularly inspect equipment and systems in the control room, reporting maintenance needs.

• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on control room procedures, safety practices, and technology.
• Help train new operators and provide guidance on control room tasks and equipment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (a technical degree or certification is preferred).
• Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Control Room Operator or in a similar technical field (e.g., manufacturing, energy, utilities, or process control).
  • Familiarity with control systems, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, or PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, equipment monitoring, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to operate control panels, instrumentation, and safety equipment.
  • Competence in using computer systems and control software for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Strong ability to diagnose and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure, especially during emergencies.
• Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, management, and other departments.
  • Ability to document and report incidents, malfunctions, and operational data clearly.
