Operator I - Vineland NJ

This is an hourly level position.

The following job description is for an individual that can perform the duties of one of the following three positions:

Filler Operator

Responsibilities:
  • Can safely lift up to 50lbs
  • Understands and can explain the theory of operation
  • Performs Metal Check/ Product Screening for foreign materials
  • Metal Check Calibration Procedures, Electric Scale and it's operation
  • HACCP
  • Packaging Eatem Foods Products
  • Product Recognition
  • Completes all required paperwork
  • Follows all Safety rules and regulations. GMP, PPE, LOTO.
  • Works as a team member
  • Changeover and Proper Sanitation of Equipment
Chopper Operator

Responsibilities:
  • Can safely lift up to 50lbs
  • Understands and can explain the theory of operation
  • Stages and verifies correct raw materials for batch making process
  • Follows batch sheets and batch making SOP as directed
  • Operates equipment as directed from the standard operating procedure
  • Completes all required paperwork
  • Follows all Safety rules and regulations. GMP, PPE, LOTO.
  • Works as a team member
  • Changeover and Proper Sanitation of Equipment
Flavor Technician

Responsibilities:
  • Can safely lift up to 50lbs
  • Understands and can explain the theory of operation
  • HACCP Requirements
  • Stages and verifies correct raw materials for batch making process

  • Operates equipment as directed from the standard operating procedure
  • Completes all required paperwork
  • Follows all Safety rules and regulations. GMP, PPE, LOTO.

Job Requirements:
  • Must have mechanical abilities.
  • Knowledge of GMP's.
  • Basic computer skills, Word and Excel.
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
  • Exhibit regular and timely attendance
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends if needed
  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
  • Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and supportive attitude
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
  • Ability to pay attention to and focus on small details. i.e., lot numbers, order numbers, etc.
  • Flexibility in accepting change and an attitude of continuous improvement
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands:
  • Standing, Walking and Lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
