Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Some weekends and additional hours may be required, as needed
Position Summary

As a Night Shift Production Supervisor, you will coordinate all manufacturing activities required to meet our company's manufacturing, customer service, financial, and safety objectives.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide managerial, technical, and training leadership and support across all manufacturing units
  • Ensure all shift activities are conducted in accordance with company safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines (USDA, Kosher, etc.)
  • Promote safety, sanitation, and organization on a daily basis
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the operation and flow of all processes and equipment across all departments, including the AS400
  • Prioritize and schedule all shift activities and resources to meet the daily production schedule, supporting strong customer service outcomes and productivity
  • Provide daily follow-up for all manufacturing units on orders scheduled for shipment
  • Schedule and ensure training for all Operators as needed
  • Track adherence to all personnel policies and departmental procedures, take appropriate action to address deviations, and complete annual performance reviews for direct reports
  • Support Inventory Record Accuracy across the Operations department
  • Investigate root causes and develop corrective action plans for quality, yield, and other departmental deviations
  • Ensure ISO 9001 and HACCP procedures are followed by all direct reports
  • Communicate, foster, and expand continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives throughout the Operations group
  • Communicate all night shift concerns related to manufacturing, quality, safety, and personnel deviations to Department Team Leaders or the Operations Director
  • Take a lead role in any emergency or security situations that occur while on duty
  • Monitor all areas of the facility for safety or security concerns
  • Contribute to team efforts by performing other duties and assignments as needed
Position Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Prior experience in food, flavor, chemical, or similar manufacturing environments
  • Experience in drying, reaction, or compounding operations preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results
  • Self-directed approach to continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in data entry and navigating Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to build and deliver presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration platforms (preferred)
