Job Summary: The Intercompany Accounting Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all intercompany accounting processes and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting related to intercompany transactions. This includes managing reconciliations, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and coordinating with global teams to maintain consistency and accuracy across all entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the recording, reconciliation, and settlement of intercompany transactions across business segments and legal entities.
Prepare and review intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
Support consolidated financial statement preparation.
Maintain working knowledge of RTR as they related to Intercompany end-to-end process and ensure compliance.
Produce KPI's related to Intercompany activities, Ad hoc reporting and manage Ad hoc tasks as needed.
Monitor and resolve posting errors.
Identify and implement process improvements for intercompany workflows.
Work closely with global finance teams, tax, treasury, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve transparency.
Assist in any audit requests.
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in intercompany.
Experience in accounting/finance operations in a shared-service or GBS model.
Sound knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and SOX
Experience with SAP and Blackline is preferred.
Prior supervisory experience
Proficient in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Microsoft Office Suite
Prior experience in managing multiple projects at one time and strong data analytics
Experience with automation tools or continuous improvement initiatives in accounting processes.
Experience with Power BI and large ERP systems (e.g. JDE, SAP, etc) a plus
