Mill Superintendent, Archer Daniels Midland Company, Jackson, TN. Develop and implement programs

and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to train and develop operational staff in milling operations.

Set and maintain company standards for Safety and Quality and maintain production and efficiency

excellence. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Corn Mill to meet customer orders. Utilize

production personnel and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to obtain maximum capacity and

performance with optimum yields and quality product. Plan, initiate and put into operation plant

improvement projects within time and budget constraints. Facilitate and ensure adherence to safety laws,

regulations, rules and sound practices. Coordinate and participate in audits, prioritize and track

completion of findings. Maintain Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) records and documentation.

Perform safety audits and set the standard for safety.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Milling Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical

Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field and one (1) year of related work experience.

Must have at least one (1) years of experience with/in:

• Milling production, and assisting with managing plant maintenance activities and plant

operations;

• Capital expenditure, equipment specification, budgeting, design, selection, installation, PI&D

creation, and qualification;

• Analyzing and presenting data using Pi Historian, Plant PAX, Excel, Power BI, or Ax Dynamics;

• Performing continuous improvement and loss calculation with DMIAC, Zero Failure, Zero Loss,

Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Break Down Analysis (BDA) or preventative maintenance best

practices; and

• Safety, quality and environmental compliance, and risk reduction principles such as Safety DMAIC,

Why-Why, 5 Why, and 5S.
