The role: Mechanic Engineer

Based in Chornomorks, Odesa region, Ukraine

The planning work includes an estimate of labor, required parts, special equipment and tools, required permits, and any other procedures, resources, or materials required to successfully complete the repair/maintenance work. This position ensures that all scheduled maintenance activities are properly coordinated, staffed and scheduled in advance.

Responsibility:

1. Refers to the planning and provision of proper execution of scheduled maintenance work;

2. Ensures that all rules regarding the protection of goods, LOTO and GMP are up to date;

3. Plans, ensures and controls the daily activities of mechanics and contractors;

4. Perform sampling to prioritize the necessary repair work;

5. Uses Maximo and other computer systems to maintain records necessary for meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance information;

6. Manages data entry into systems and equipment/repair information files, and supports predictive and preventive maintenance planning;

7. Develops, supports and monitors the program of preventive maintenance;

8. Tracks key metrics for scheduled maintenance and reports these metrics to the plant monthly. Participates in meetings (in English and Ukrainian). Conducts e-mail correspondence (in English and Ukrainian).

9. Prepares applications for work, parts and materials that are not in stock. Organizes the purchase of spare parts.

10. Creates maintenance work schedules, lists of planned work and resource requirements.

Requirements:
  • Higher technical education.
  • Good organization and time management.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office and the ability to quickly learn and utilize other standardized systems.
  • English Intermediate level (B1/B2).
  • Teamwork skills.
