About the Role
We're seeking a Material Handler to join our Watson elevator operations team at Archer Daniels Midland. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting safe and efficient grain handling operations while maintaining ADM's commitment to operational excellence and a zero-injury culture.
This position involves material handling, equipment operation, and facility housekeeping in a fast-paced agricultural environment. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient site operations.
What You'll Do
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Operate wheel loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and similar mobile equipment
Utilize computerized systems to process operational data
Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning equipment and facility areas
Assist operations, maintenance personnel, and supervisors as required
Maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental, and operational procedures

Willingness to work weekends and overtime as operational needs require
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience operating computers preferred
Prior experience in maintenance-related disciplines preferred
Experience operating mobile equipment (forklift, loader, skid steer) considered an asset

Must pass pre-employment medical and reference checks
Ability to meet physical demands including prolonged standing/sitting, confined spaces, heights, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust)
Commitment to ADM's Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
