The Manager - Pricing Analytics is a key member of the pricing analytics team, developing pricing solutions and supporting day to day activities of the broader pricing and commercial organization. The responsibilities include pricing data management, developing/enhancing analytics frameworks and visualizations that enable data driven business decisions, and supporting a high performing team of analysts/senior analysts.
The ideal candidate will have:
commercial minded approach understanding market economics, customer and product value in alignment with go-to-market pricing strategy
expertise in analytics and data science techniques
technical knowledge of platforms and software technology (Python/R, SQL Server)
ability to drive effective support of data analysis and model management
ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
experience with IT project management practices
The position is located in Erlanger, KY (Cincinnati, OH metro area)
Responsibilities for this position include:
Design, develop, and maintain analytics products, ensuring high quality inputs and outputs that help commercial teams with day to day pricing and long term strategic planning
Build reusable data sets and analytics that enable rapid decision making for commercial leaders
Review and validate data sets and analyses across team to ensure data and assumptions are aligned with evolving market conditions
Collaborate across the broader Nutrition organization to unlock data and analytics efficiencies and build a cohesive view of our platforms
Act as the voice of the pricing customer, detailing requirements and building pricing solutions that bring measurable value to key stakeholders
Translate complex business problems into concise analysis that help drive actions
Coordinate data updates with appropriate departments (e.g., marketing, sales, finance, and operations)
Requirements for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
5+ years of experience performing data analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling initiatives
1+ yr people management experience
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with data visualization and data processing tools (e.g., PowerBI, Python/R)
Experience implementing advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and accurate usage, etc.) based on the business case
Ability to communicate, influence and build trust across multiple stakeholder groups
Proven experience managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines
Experience working with all major functions, like supply chain, procurement, product development, and finance to improve data accuracy and integrity preferred
Self-starter with continuous improvement mindset
Ownership mentality
