Global Mobility Manager - Chicago or Decatur, IL.

This is a full-time, exempt level position.

Position Summary:

The Global Mobility Manager will be responsible for the overall delivery of the Global Mobility program. This role will oversee handling the day-to-day activities of the domestic relocation program and US inbound immigration managing a team of mobility specialists as well as vendor supported services. Working with a diverse, global workforce, this position liaises with global HR partners to successfully deliver the expatriate program. In line with ADM's core values, a successful candidate will demonstrate dedication to confidentiality and operational excellence with a focus on the customer. The individual in this role will gain valuable knowledge, skills and experience in an area of HR that interacts daily with colleagues and management from all levels of the organization. Excellent customer service is a must for this role as you direct and advise on personnel decisions of colleagues professional lives.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultation on ADM's relocation and immigration policies and relocation administration to enable informed talent decisions.
  • Actively manage vendor partnerships for relocation coordination and immigration legal/tax support
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our colleagues, as they relocate upon request of ADM.
  • Educate the business and colleagues of the work that multiple vendors provide to deliver a positive colleague experience for ADM's global mobility programs.
  • Provide people managers with US immigration guidance to assist with movement of international colleagues.
  • Coordinate and execute on day-to-day US immigration administration by partnering with outside and in-house counsel, HR business partners and managers for visa approvals of non-immigration workers.
  • Provide immigrations, transition and settling in service support to international local hires in the US.
  • Deliver strong mobility analytics to HR and the business to drive strategic planning
  • Ensure team members maintain updated process documentation, manuals and SOPs.
  • Heavily utilize project management skills to align and support special projects
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and system enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Global Mobility/Relocation
  • Previous people manager experience of at least 1-3 years
  • International experience would be a plus for this role
  • Prior work experience maintaining confidential and sensitive information
  • Dedication to providing extraordinary customer service to colleagues, managers and vendors
  • Knowledge of US domestic relocation and/or immigration law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to changing priorities, ability to handle multiple duties and work under time constraints
