Reporting to the Head - Technical (Plant), this position is responsible to give maintenance support to operation team for smooth running of the plant. This position is based at Latur location in India and a team of nearly 15 colleagues report (direct / in-direct) to this position
Responsible for all major maintenance activities in plant for smooth running of plant
• Responsible for controlling breakdowns & spare inventory
• Erection and Modification in plant machines, if required
• Coordination with consultant and contractors for outsources job
• Arranging of manpower, material, tools & machineries as per work requirement
• Ensure quality of spares purchased
• Implementing preventive maintenance & lubrication program
• Planning for Annual Maintenance within the budget limit
• Ensuring each activity is performed safely and as per ADM safety norms
• Responsible for cost effective and timely implementation of the repair program
• Maintain various records and reports and history card book
• Implement latest techniques of maintenance of machines
• Ensuring required trainings must be completed for team
• Reviewing and analyzing mechanical parameters for improving performance
• Ensure compliance with ADM policies
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required
Your Profile
University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Relevant certification with necessary experiences will be preferred
• 10-12 years' strong related experience.
• Experience of working in a FMCG or manufacturing organization.
• Passionate about achieving high levels of excellence
• Thorough knowledge of production parameters, procedures & standards
• Impressive track record and experience within a similar position(s)
Functional Skills
Able to drive maintenance work with strong Team Leadership skills
• Strong People Management Skills
• Good exposure to business with accounting key deliverables
• Strong Negotiation skills and Budgeting experience
• In depth knowledge of plant safety, regulations and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good knowledge of GMP in food industries
• Strong MS Office and presentation skills
• Fluent in Marathi, English and Hindi, both written and spoken
