Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, UK and EU legislation and company safety regulations/standards.
  • Promote ADM's Safety Culture across the maintenance department (reports and contractors).
  • Participate in compliance initiatives and assessments.
  • Communicate and supervise the daily maintenance schedule to reports and contractors.
  • Manage daily planning deviation and schedule disruptors.
  • Provide direct reports and contractors with technical support and guidance.
  • Ensure daily maintenance activities are completed safely and to schedule.
  • Provide feedback to the Maintenance Planners and Maintenance Superintendent.
  • Lead, coach and develop maintenance technicians.
  • Ensure maintenance areas achieve high cleanliness and organisational standards.
  • Drive improvements within the maintenance areas.
  • At all times conduct themselves in a professional manner and in line with ADM's code of conduct.
  • Requirement to perform reasonably similar, or related duties, as required.
  • Liaise with ADM or external bodies regarding site technical issues, as required.
Your Profile
  • You will hold a recognised engineering qualification, with time served electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably within a food, feed or chemical process and packaging environment.
  • 3+ years of supervision experience within a maintenance department, incorporating Health and Safety, Environment, Quality, Production and Project management.
  • Strong problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills, with a focused results approach.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and lead a team.
  • Proficient in asset management techniques - system specific training will be given.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications. Preferred knowledge of Maximo - training will be given.
  • Forward thinking, with a Continuous Improvement mindset.
