MADJV Project Manager, Procurement

Position can be based in Chicago or Decatur, IL or Erlanger, KY.


POSITION SUMMARY

The Global Procurement Operations & Strategy team is looking for candidate for the position of Global MADJV (Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Joint Ventures) Project Manager. This position requires a strong background in project management, procurement processes, and experience in handling complex projects involving mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills to ensure the smooth execution of procurement activities within MADJV or other projects as assigned.

RESPONSIILITIES

Responsibilities associated with this role can be divided into two broad categories:

MADJV Playbook Development:
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of the MADJV Playbook for Procurement.
  • Document best practices, processes, and guidelines to be followed during MADJV projects.
  • Ensure the Playbook is regularly updated to reflect changes in policies, market conditions, and organizational learnings.
Project Execution

  • Lead and manage procurement-related activities for MADJV projects from initiation to completion.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets across multiple MADJV projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including strategic PMO to ensure alignment and timely execution of project tasks.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement activities in MADJV projects.
  • Collaborate with wider procurement organization to support due diligence, synergy identification and integration efforts.
  • Work on new colleague / acquired site onboarding program.
KEY SKILLS

  • Thought leadership and has attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of IT systems and MS Excel is required. MS PowerApps, MS Power BI, and Database a plus
  • Driven team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and w. minimal supervision.
  • Good understand of End-to-End Procurement business processes is required.
  • Language: Fluent in English is required. Fluency in any one of the following languages: Portuguese, Spanish, Polish, French is a plus.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, project management, or a related role.
  • Experience in managing procurement activities within MADJV projects is highly desirable.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Supply Chain Management (CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
