AREA OF EXPERIENCE: LOGISTICS, WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT, STAFF SUPERVISION, QUALITY CONTROL OF RAW MATERIALS (AGRICULTURAL).

EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: 1 - 5 YEARS

POSITION: LOGISTICS ANALYST

The logistics analyst will be responsible for: the logistical and operational activities from the planning and arrivals of ships and reporting to the shipping company, as well as the receiving of raw materials and shipments, storage and preservation of grains and flours, in the warehouse operated by ADM DOMINICANA.

SHIPS.
  • Coordinate docking logistics together with the shipping agent and port authorities.
  • Monitor ship operations at the dock prior to unloading to assess possible docking windows and the performance of ships that will give us a berth at the dock.
  • Identify locations to receive by type of product according to the expected volume.
  • Follow up in collaboration with the shipping agent with the port authorities to find docking dates.
  • Follow up on the payment of product policies to avoid losing a dock slot due to non-payment of handling costs.
  • Verify with the customs agent the timely submission of import documents.
  • Provide daily feedback on unloading progress, performance, and pending products to be unloaded.
  • Identify storage (eastern/western) for the arrival of the ship.
  • Initial draft of values (weight, volume) of the ship and review differences from the Bill of Lading with weight on land.
  • WAREHOUSE
  • Physical inspection of the locality verifying product quality and minimizing obsolescence. Ensure that all selected lots for dispatch on the day are free of pests.
  • Address and document customer complaint requests for the following reasons. (Prepare a report). a. Quality b. Shortage c. Delay in delivery from the warehouse. d. Theft.
  • Coordinate the preparation of spaces for the reception of new lots in warehouses. a. Coordinate cleaning plan b. Coordinate fumigation plan
  • Verify and validate requests for overtime for labor and truck handling in the warehouse, as well as the certification of scales - Conduct tests on 3-5 trucks.
